The Swedish born former UN Secretary-General, Dag Hammarskjöld played an important role in the international society, but his tragic death 50 years ago caused many questions. In 1961 he was given a posthumous Nobel Prize in Peace.

In the art project, entitled "Offer", Ingegerd Björklund will focus on Dag Hammarskjöld's literary work "Markings". Inspired by Hammarskjöld's thoughts, Ingegerd will present an art exhibition, and some pieces of art can be seen at this site. Ingegerd will also offer shows, where she will sing some of her own settings of selected poems by Hammarskjöld, but also other´songs, dealing with the same subjects, which were central for him. Ingegerd even plays the piano. Between the vocal numbers Ingegerd will tell interesting episodes from Dag Hammarskjöld's life. The art project, "Offer", also includes an art book by Ingegerd and a CD.
