The Irresistible
Ingegerd Björklund acts as the Swedish Singer Christina Nilsson, who was a mega star during the second part of the 19th century both in Europe and America.

Nilsson’s life was really dramatic, so you will learn a lot about madness, love and struggles, but also FAME, in this extraordinary show, where Ingegerd also sings from the elder singer’s repertoire to her own piano accompaniment.

 

Dynamic Transformations
Ingegerd Björklund presents a special programme focusing on the founder of the Nobel Prizes, Alfred Nobel. Dr. Björklund tells about the founder's life and she sings Songs based on lyrics by some Nobel Prize Laureates. Ingegerd Björklund also offers a very unique art exhibition on the same theme.

In 2011 Dynamic Transformations will be presented in Moscow.

Signs
A special anniversary programme focusing on the former UN Secretary General, Dag Hammarskjöld( 1905-1961). To her own piano accompaniment Ingegerd Björklund sings her own settings, based on lyrics by Hammarskjöld's "Markings", as well as other songs, which are reflecting his ideas. She even tells interesting episodes from Hammarskjöld's life. Ingegerd Björklund even presents an extensive art exhibition on the same theme.

A Tribute to Linné
This is a special programme focusing on the great Swedish scientist Carl von Linné (1707-1778). Dr. Björklund sings Songs, in more than ten languages, to her own piano accompaniment and tells fascinating stories about Linné and his students, who conquered the world. Ingegerd Björklund also offers a special art exhibition on the same theme.

The Bridge-builder
Take part of the fascinating story from the early 17th century
about Jonas Brunck from Sweden, who conquered the seas and became the first white settler east of New Amsterdam (today Manhattan) and even gave his name to the land he bought - Bronx! Ingegerd tells the fascinating story and sings songs in association with the story. A fantastic programme, which includes everything from Swedish Folksongs to "Tonight" and "New York, New York"!. Ingegerd even presents an art exhibition on the same theme. Both the show and the exhibition "The Bridge-builder" were first time performed in 2010.

Strindberg and the Music
During 2012 the renown Swedish author August Strindberg's anniversary will be celebrated all over the world. Ingegerd Björklund presents a very interesting programme with Songs, based on lyrics by Strindberg. Björklund sings to her own piano accompaniment. As an actress she also offers readings from Strindberg's literary works and tells interesting episodes from his life.

The vast repertoire of Ingegerd Björklund includes selections from Opera, Oratorio and other Sacral Music, Lieder, Art Music for Piano or Organ, Folk Music and Popular Songs, as well as her own compositions.

Northern Light 
Ingegerd Björklund presents a beautiful selection of Songs from the Scandinavian countries composed by Grieg, Sibelius, Alfvén and Peterson-Berger among others. Even Folk Songs and Björklund’s own Songs can be included, but also Songs by the Russian composers Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. A very interesting programme with piano or orchestra!

Women making music
In this very special programme Ingegerd Björklund sings Songs composed by women composers of the 19th century and tells about their struggles for equal rights and their dedication to music. You will meet Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, Agathe Backer-Grǿndahl, and many more.

The extra ordinary
A fascinating drama in three acts focusing on the pianist and composer Clara Schumann (1819-1896) and the most important three men in her life – the father, her husband and her lover! Music by Robert and Clara Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn …

With liberate voice
From a struggling poor mother of tree small girls to the first Swedish female journalist! Meet Wendela Hebbe (1808-1899) and the influential men around her, among them the bishop Tegnér and Hierta, the founder of the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. Ingegerd tells the dramatic story of Wendela and presents music by Hebbe and her friends. Selections from Signe Hebbe’s opera repertoire are included.

With Love
In 2011 Franz Liszt's anniversary will be celebrated. In this programme Ingegerd Björkund sings some of his most beautiful Songs, but music by some of his friends are also included. Ingegerd even tells interesting epsiodes from Liszt's life.

Secrets of Love
Had Jenny Lind a love affair with Frederich Chopin or was it with the Danish author H. C. Andersen? Ingegerd tells the fascinating story and sings Songs from Jenny Lind´s repertoire, as well as songs with lyrics by Andersen and she performs music by Chopin.

Milles and the Music
Ingegerd offers a special programme about the world famous Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955) and his musical preferences. Music by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Sjögren, Alfvén and many more!

From Fröding to Finlandia
A programme for Soparno and Piano which builds a musical bridge between Sweden and Finland. focusing on Jean Sibelius. Organ improvisation can be included.

The Red Lotus
East meets west! Ingegerd sings selections from Chinese Operas and Folk Songs from China, Japan and Korea in the original languages, but also beautiful settings of Chinese poetries by European composers. The programme can be presented with orchestra or piano. 

Great Opera composers in Songs
Ingegerd presents some of the most beautiful Songs by Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Gounod, Bizet, Meyerbeer, R. Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak and many more. 

Unlimited
This beloved programme can include almost everything - from Opera selections to “Love me tender” and Ingegerd Björklund’s own Songs!

Amazing grace
Ingegerd presents an extremely popular programme including favourite songs like “Amazing grace”, “O mighty God” and “The holy city” for Soprano/Piano/Organ/and/or Orchestra/Choir.
